Begin coding for TYPE of digital products created - notice the "brains on fire" inherit in the challenge of the intellectual work designed and produced. Take the challenge to design a task that goes BEYOND packaging existing information PLUS expecting a TYPE of communication that requires meaning making not summarizing information.

Content worthy of being packaged with new communication skills should come FIRST with the most time and attention! It's not about the hardware - it's about the HEADWARE! No amount of bells and whistles can decorate up thin thinking - so focus on students being MEANING-Makers then . . . . becoming Media-Makers.
